The enduring connections forged by the Academy experience of an impressive network of 800 alumni, create a culture of collaboration and an unparalleled resource for moving the region forward.

The Leadership Academy provides participants with regional knowledge and powerful connections to become more effective community and business leaders.
Over the course of 10 months the program includes:
Visits to vital institutions and organizations;
Meeting with local, regional and state leaders to discuss current issues;
Enhancing leadership capacity through a unique curriculum…”Positive Leadership;”
Designing and implementing a community service project
Academy fellows emerge with:
Insight into regional economy, government, education, environment, health, public safety, the arts, housing, transportation and more;
Enhanced strategic planning , project management and team-building skills;
Lasting, valuable cross-sector relationships with other established and emerging leaders
