Leadership Professionals Complete CCLP CORE Training, Advancing Community Impact
Leaders from across the country have successfully completed the Certified Community Leadership Practitioner (CCLP) CORE Training, a significant step in their professional development and commitment to strengthening Community Leadership Programs in their communities. The intensive training, facilitated by the Association of Leadership Programs (ALP), equips participants with the knowledge and strategies needed to enhance their organizations and foster increased civic engagement.This cohort of CCLP graduates represents a diverse range of leadership programs and organizations, each dedicated to cultivating strong community leaders:

- Samantha Edwards Lacy – Leadership Knoxville, Inc.
- Anjelica Hall – Leadership Memphis
- Tyra Harbut – Leadership Lexington
- Randy Kelly – Leadership South Bend Mishawaka
- Michele Partridge-Lane – Lead Hampton Roads
- Esther Pokladnik – Leadership Corpus Christi
- Natalie Pryce – Pryceless Consulting
- Jesse Rasmussen – Leadership Southern Indiana
- Charmaine Solomon – Plano Chamber of Commerce
- Jessica Stanford – Midland Chamber of Commerce
- Brenda Weatherly – San Benito Leadership Institute
- Cathy Yen – Community Connections Fund
“The CCLP CORE Training offers an invaluable opportunity to share knowledge, strengthen networks, and build the leadership capacity necessary to drive meaningful change,” said Jessie Baginski, Director of Programs at ALP. “Each participant has demonstrated a deep commitment to developing strong, effective leadership programs that will positively impact their communities.”
By completing the CORE Training, these professionals have finished the first step in the process of becoming Certified Community Leadership Practitioners. Their dedication to professional growth and community development highlights the vital role that leadership programs play in shaping the future. Since 2019, seven cohorts comprised of over 90 Community Leadership Program professionals have completed the required 16 hours of CORE training.
Twenty-three individuals have gone on to complete the full process, passing the certification exam and earning the CCLP designation.
