ALP Announces 2023 Benchmark Survey

As part of our continued effort to advance the effectiveness of Community Leadership Programs, we are asking you and your organization to participate in the 2023 Association of Leadership Programs Benchmark Survey. Your participation will allow you and fellow leadership program professionals to understand our industry's current status better.

Have you ever been asked. . .

• Is our tuition too high? Too low?
• Are our staff salaries competitive?
• Are there additional programs we could offer in our portfolio?

To help you answer these questions and more, ALP has engaged an outside vendor, Burges & Burges Strategists, to conduct the survey. A unique link to access the Benchmark Survey will be emailed directly to all organizations in the ALP database from Burges & Burges on Wednesday, March 1, 2023. Specific information about your program/organization will be aggregated with others and kept strictly confidential and not shared except as part of a summary with others. 

Because we must assess data from as many Community Leadership Programs as possible, we invite every member and non-member Community Leadership Program organization to complete the survey. 

Whether you're a member or not, all participating organizations will receive a digital copy of the complete Benchmark Survey (approximately 90 pages) free of charge.   

Organizations/Programs that are members of ALP but do not participate in the survey will have access to the summary (condensed) for a fee of $50. The complete survey analysis will be available for $100. 

The complete survey analysis will be available to non-member organizations and programs that do not participate at a fee of $200.

The summary results will be reported during ALP's 2023 National Conference in Knoxville, TN. 

The first 100 organizations to complete the survey by March 6 will be entered into a drawing to receive 50% off one (1) regular-rate conference registration ($287 value).
