Adina Veen, LEAD San Diego

Learning Session: Bridging the Gender gap: Equipping Women for the C-Suite

Adina has worked in the non-profit sector for the majority of her career in volunteer management, fundraising and leadership development. At Girl Scouts San Diego, she focused on her passion for developing girls into leaders. There she managed neighbor volunteer boards, major events and oversaw advocacy and government relations. At United Way of San Diego County she managed the community and volunteer engagement program, and also ran their Women’s Leadership Council, a giving circled focused on empowering women in the workplace and philanthropic support on community initiatives. She has also dedicated many years to volunteer service with the Junior League of San Diego, Women Give San Diego, and now focuses her volunteer hours with her daughter’s soccer league and supports fundraising for the PTA.
Currently, Adina is the Director of Leadership Programs for LEAD San Diego, where she oversees a suite of leadership development programs that meet the needs of the entire career spectrum, from young leaders, to c-level executives. Including Advance, a program designed to empower and elevate women in the workplace.
Adina is a graduate of LEAD San Diego’s flagship program, Impact and a graduate of Advance. Adina has a huge heart for LEAD San Diego and the impact it has on shaping the leadership of San Diego."
