This 2.5-hour pre-conference session invites ALP members to participate in the annual in-person meeting of the Nebraska Leadership Coalition and learn how Nebraska has built a statewide network of leadership program coordinators. Formed in 2023 by Inclusive Communities, Leadership Nebraska, Leadership Omaha, and Leadership Unlimited, the Nebraska Leadership Coalition was created to elevate the role of leadership development in strengthening Nebraska’s economic prosperity.
The coalition brings together coordinators from leadership programs across the state to share ideas, resources, and strategies that strengthen local communities. The Nebraska Leadership Coalition meets twice a year—once virtually and once in person—to exchange best practices, explore collaborative projects, and build sustainable infrastructure for leadership development statewide.
During this session, participants will observe the coalition in action, hear the origin story and lessons learned from its founding partners, and explore how similar statewide or regional collaborations could be developed in their own areas. Attendees will leave with practical insights, replicable structures, and inspiration for building a shared leadership ecosystem that supports longâterm community and economic vitality.
Time: 11:30 AM - 2:00 PM CST
Cost: FREE (lunch is provided)
